The paper offers a report of the seminar From the writing workshop to the study workshop. For the 10th anniversary of the Museum Spazi900, held on the 12th of November 2025 at the National Central Library of Rome. The seminar gathers recent studies on personal archives and libraries of Italian writers and literary critics, testified by the Museum Spazi900. The aim was to celebrate the museum on its 10th anniversary. To mark this important anniversary, the National library organized a seminar where postgraduate students, PhD students and postdocs from different universities presented their research on the literary collections of the National library. The seminar was introduced by Eleonora Cardinale, head of the museum and of contemporary literary collections. The poet Elio Pecora gave the final speech pointing out the vision of study and enhancement claimed during the whole event. The close connection of different studies on personal collections has led to the ideal author’s workshop, connecting writers and literary critics from the past to present and future generations.
