This paper presents the memories of the 11e Colloque international d’ISKO-France 2017. From the report of the conferences, sessions and the problematizations made throughout the event, it demonstrates the importance of Francophone thinkers to the construction of information-documentation. The experience has provided a space for exchanges between researchers from many countries, as well as highlighting the diversity of topics and approaches that are transversal to the Knowledge Organization (KO). The contributions of the colloquium should not be interpreted in a linear way, but rather in a temporal and associative way. In order to do so, it is essential for the KO to consider the historical path that precedes it in order to formulate an interdisciplinary strategy consistent with the scientific, political and institutional objectives of the International Society for Knowledge Organization (ISKO).References
