Dagli indicatori bibliometrici all’analisi qualitativa: la valorizzazione del peer-review nella valutazione della ricerca scientifica

Abstract

L’uso degli indicatori bibliometrici e in particolare dell’Impact Factor delle riviste nella valutazione della produzione scientifica dei ricercatori è stato recentemente sottoposto a revisione in ambito internazionale, facendo emergere la necessità di riconsiderare l’attività di peer-review come procedura che permette di riconoscere le diverse attività collegate alla ricerca degli studiosi. Nell’articolo si prendono in considerazione alcuni rapporti pubblicati in ambito internazionale – DORA, The Leiden Manifesto, Rapporto della Commissione europea del 2021 – e si evidenzia la connessione significativa tra le buone pratiche valutative e il Manifesto di Hong Kong, dedicato alla integrità della ricerca e l’Etica della valutazione della ricerca.
